Clarification on svn
July 22, 2008, 02:40:22 am
Hi,

Could you clarify when/if/how a new  v2.1 branch is going to be created, and at what point trunk is going to be 2.2 ?

My preference would be that you branch v2.1 as soon as you are going to create new features for the 2.2, I suppose just after the code freeze ?

Anyway, please tell us when to branch from trunk to a v2.1

we normally branch when we are close to beta and have ironed out "most" of the big issues etc. As such, i expect a 2.1 branch to happen sometime in mid august. The next few weeks will be quite a few bug fixes and some pretty decent QA (hopefully with the community helping out here to a large extent)
