Lotus Notes LDAP And CiviCRM

Has anyone tried integrating CiviCRM with a Lotus Notes/Domino LDAP schema?

If so, can you post any issues/trouble you may have run in to as well as the config that you have?

Meaning was it Linux/Drupal/Joomla, or Linux Standalone or Mac OS X etc.

Thanks!  Much appreciated.

Hi,

Could you clarify the goal ? Is it to query civicrm via ldap from note or to authenticate users on a ldap, or ... ?

It seems that some managed to install an openldap on the top of the civicrm db.

I should have clarified from the start.

We are a Lotus Notes shop and we are using the Domino LDAP for authentication.  I would like to authenticate users against the Domino LDAP for CiviCRM.

Our users list is in Domino LDAP and it would simplify administration if we could allow CiviCRM users to just use their Lotus Notes Account to login.

You should check how to authenticate drupal/joomla login against LDAP (there are drupal modules for this, not sure about joomla). CiviCRM uses the CMS for auth purposes. In standalone mode, we use openID
