Clarity on Organisation Drupal 'Users'
June 10, 2007, 04:02:17 pm
Hi

I've been trying to follow to follow the documents and  discussions  on Drupal users updating their own record; and am still not sure if this can be done for organisations as well as individuals (http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-1061 seems to suggest that this is now possible?). What I am trying to do is to create users for organisations rather than individuals and then link them to a profile with organization-only fields. This mostly works - I get the correct organization data returned for the logged in user in a seemingly editable form, but when I try to update a field I get the following error:

"Please correct the following errors in the form fields below:
An account already exists with the same information. "

This occurs both when I use 'My Account' and use a link to the profile.

Any help would be appreciated.

Matthew
