Reporting
July 24, 2008, 05:11:08 am
One of the questions that came up at the usergroup was about reporting - very important for UK voluntary sector who are forever having to generate new reports for funders  on what proportion of lesbian cats with Irish ancestry and one white paw they have reached in their community  ::)
Something called BIRT was mentioned which sounded very techie. For Joomla sites there is the JXtended Reports component which allows you to fairly easily generate reports on your database from the front-end. Check it out here. I haven't tried it myself, but it looks possible if you need that sort of thing.

I've been using Logos Query Manager (http://gmitc.biz/products/lqm/) for a while which is also very good.

Is there anything for reporting where Drupal is the engine? Other thank BIRT? I've been struggling to work this out for a fair while.

Thanks
