Use of uninitialized value
July 31, 2008, 03:43:25 am
Can anyone suggest where I should start debugging this?

Use of uninitialized value in numeric eq (==) at ./bin/imap2soap.pl line 374.
imap2soap: Error: Failed bounce event: <bounce.1.15.10.f40ff24929787afdd2e7fd5a973c88b44a1bb849@classes.org.nz>

I added some variables to the error:
 $soapKey, $jobId, $qId, $hash, $body" and got the following - no $body it seems

 21, 16, bf82a7c35542b96cf9c0be6ff071a90a5060c365, SOAP::Data=HASH(0x947e9c4)

OK - I fleshed it out a bit - there's no SOAPKEY

imap2soap: Error: Failed bounce event: verpinfo = <bounce.1.23.18.f154834142a6d32321dbea0a08f80c75eea3e386@classes.org.nz> soapkey = , jid = 23, qid = 18, hash = f154834142a6d32321dbea0a08f80c75eea3e386,body = SOAP::Data=HASH(0x96349b4)

which means I'm not authenticating on line 145 - I am getting this rather non=explanatory error...

Error: SOAP: 1->faultstring

But I'm still accessing the mailbox - hmmmm

It was just an authentication to civicrm error - perhaps this error message could be improved?

Apart from that the imap2soap was not too bad to set up. I asked my brother to help and he imposed secure passwords on me and lost interest - which is where the authentication error crept in.
