Mapping Development (CiviMap)
July 31, 2008, 11:32:30 am
Hi,

I am new to CiviCRM and have recently started working with Chicago Technology Cooperative (CTC).  We want to help develop the mapping functionality in CiviCRM (aka CiviMap).

So, I wanted to see if people had thoughts of where this is going?  Who is currently working on it?  Links to previous discussions?  Links to some good CiviCRM development practices?

Thanks,
Alan

Alan:

You might want to give folks a better idea of what CTC has done / plans to do with mapping.

The CiviCRM integration to Google maps is fairly simple and maps addresses to a google map. No more, No less :) There is also a custom proximity search done for 2.1 which is map related.
