Participant records custom fields loose their data during online registration
June 12, 2007, 08:50:37 pm
Paypal Standard online registration (sandbox).  Custom Fields (configured to be required) are filled during registartion.  The return page from Paypal maintains these fields data.  The test record logged does not maintain these custom fields.  The email generated by the system also has lost these fields.

CRM-1864 Participant records are not created by Online Event Registration
June 12, 2007, 10:49:18 pm
With Paypal Standard a successful live Paypal transaction was accomplished on demo.paypal.org/drupal, both last Saturday night and again this evening.  In both cases, the system presents a confimation page on the return from Paypal, but no record of this transaction is applied to the Event.

I have an extensive screen shot collection of this (to big to post here).

Tuesday night's live registration was to a user that was added to the system during the registration with the name of "Live Test".  The Event is called "Paypal Standard Online Registration".  The time of the live transaction on the Thank You page was marked at June 12, 2007 9:49 pm.

full documentation with settings on demo.civicrm.org/drupal, and screenshots of this bug logged as a new bug CRM-2007.

CRM-2007 primary bug is Live Paypal Standard Online Registration Successful but not Stored in CiviEvent

I also noticed two other odd results:
1. Relating to this forum posting: Sandbox Standard Online Registration Successful but Custom Data fields become blank.
2. Online transaction is USD despite Localization setting of Default currency = CAD default country = Canada

I'm checking (and fixing) the custom fields issue now
