Why limited edit on pledge objects?
August 05, 2008, 11:38:57 am
In the sandbox I went back to correct the incorrect data on a pledge and only the Acknowledgement date, contribution type and self-service page are editable.  Is it intended to need to delete a pledge and re-enter it if a mistake is made in amount, dates, period and so on...

First - thanks for spending time working w/ the Pledge features on the sandbox and giving us feedback / bug reports etc. ++

We had originally blocked editing on any of the fields which affect the "Payment Schedule" - since if they are changed the schedule needs to be rebuilt. However, I've posted an issue to allow changes to all fields on the form prior to the first pledge payment being recorded (completed). Once a payment occurs - rebuilding the schedule becomes quite a bit more complicated - so we'll punt on that for now.
