Testing Situation
August 05, 2008, 06:45:24 pm
Hi there,

I'm struggling to test  a particular (common) situation on the sandbox. I want to test what happens when people using Paypal Standard (or another re-direction-type processor) back out part-way through the transaction and then try to enrol again (in 2.0.4 this results in multiple pending registrations) but I can't do this on the sandbox at the moment as there is no test account for the payment processors. (NB I never did get my own paypal sandbox account to work anyway - sigh)

You might want to give paypal sandbox another go. That might be the easiest way to test stuff. If you want a sandbox test email, you can try: paypal@openngo.org. Not sure if PayPal standard wants you logged in in their developer sandbox (i dont think so)

however, i dont think we've changed the behavior in 2.1. If we dont get a confirmation back, the registration will be in pending state and will need to be manually resovled

I thought I had seen a change request where if a person tried to enrol in an event for which they have a pending enrolment they get to finish off the pending enrolment - rather than create a new one.
