Events and individuals: In my neighbourhood

Hi

I would like to have a "in my neighbourhood" listings of events and individuals (ex. search within 10 km radius of my home). With this functionality users can easily find local events and fellow active individuals to team up with - thus users can organize them self with coordinated action.

there is a custom proximity search for contacts in 2.1:

You can use that as a starting point for your needs
