Can multiple centers use one civiEvent system

How should I configure the civievent to support this need and anything I need to pay attention to.

Any suggestions are really appreciated.

Hey,

Depends on what you mean by "multiple centers". I'm guessing you mean offices/groups of people - it's of course possible, it's a normal use case, where multiple people access and use CiviCRM/CiviEvent. All the other details depend on your specific requirements.

Thx,
m

This is something I've been thinking about.  My site is primarily focussed with allowing people to enrol in our block classes. I had thought to allow other groups to also use our site to take enrolments I haven't looked very far into the ACLs but just thinking about what the requirements might be - here's some of them maybe

- Ability to restrict viewing of contacts so that a given user can only see contact details they have access to.
- more tricky -they should only be able to see their events / contributions /etc/ if  - a contact has interacted with more than one organisation
- They would need to access mailing groups relevant to their organisation only
- Events would need to be able to be associated with a particular group & Access given by group ( including ability to add events for that group)
- different organisations might have different payment processors & access would need to be controlled.

My thinking about going down this track had been limited to me setting up events for another organisation & them getting e-mails on registrations (probably) using the pay later option with their registrants being added to a group + me sending them out a dump of their contacts in a spreadsheet.
Make today the day you step up to support CiviCRM and all the amazing organisations that are using it to improve our world - http://civicrm.org/contribute

That's possible with ACLs.

Please take a look at contact dashboard functionality - is this what you mean?

Probably doable with ACLs.

That's not there yet.

Also, no such thing in CiviCRM available yet.

There is also some thinking already done on this page and it's children pages - you might want to refer to those ideas.
