import formatting error
August 12, 2008, 06:45:20 am
When I try to import some of my organization's contacts, I get formatting errors, however nothing seems incorrect.

Here is an example line, for every record it says the same message

Line Number
Reason
Employee of
Job Title
First Name
Last Name
Phone
Phone
Phone
Email
No Bulk Mail (Opted-out)
State
Supplemental Address 1
Supplemental Address 2
City
State   Postal Code
Note
- do not import -
County

11
Invalid value for field(s) : State Province
North Coast Processing, Inc.
Director, Bus Dev & Marketing
Michael
Hackbarth
(716) 627-4369
(716) 627-4792
mhackbarth@ncpusa.com
0
2171 Hobblebush Lane
Lakeview
NY
14085
0
Erie

It says the State Province is incorrect, however every record has a correct 2 letter abbreviation for the state. I tried using the full state name to no avail

Thanks in advance

Can you replicate on the 2.1 sandbox with a small anonymized import file (1 or 2 rows would be sufficient). Assuming the validation error recreates - post back here with steps and attach your sample import file.
