It is possible on civicrm to limit number of searches?
for example limit searches for number, from the same ip, from cookie, or for example add a captcha after a certain numebr of researches, as google is doing..
if not, how I could guide my php developer to develop this? or better to ask this in new ask feature forum?

Hey,

It's not possible to limit the number of searches. I guess introducing this kind of functionality shouldn't be a killer from CiviCRM point of view. Not sure how to help can I help you about guiding your php developer - one thing I can think of is proposing her/him to assemble this functionality as a separate module (Drupal/Joomla), with as little of core CiviCRM hacks as possible.
