InnoDB Minimum settings?
August 19, 2008, 10:43:44 pm
I see on the Joomla1.5 / CiviCRM2.1 installation page:
"MySQL 5.x with INNODB enabled"

iPower does provide InnoDB, but the variable settings are much lower than I have seen in various MyISAM>InnoDB migration instructions.  Are there any particular variable minimums that I should check on prior to converting my DB?

Hey,

That probably depends on the size and usage of database that you are planing to build (number of records/events). CiviCRM makes standard use of mysql and db tuning might be needed only for really large record sets.

Thx,
