1. Process so far:

After doing an advanced search, which pulls up 20 names, you then go and select from the pull down menu , "Record activity for contact" which records the activity for all the 20 names.

once this is completed, to be able to go back to this batch, or to any set of activities, and be able to change/add custom information thats link to this activity.

example.. you have an activity called "conducted Interview"   you want the record to show that an interview was conducted, but you also want to know, what the status of the interview was, or some other custom fields ( information that you don't want to put in the detail section)

the idea is to use the same functionality as the batch update via profile for activities,

2. being able to have custom field searches for activities,
