I have plans to integrate imap2soapJunk.pl into imap2soap.pl, so much of this will change.  imap2soapJunk.pl was originally designed to be a command line IMAP client from which you could look at the mailboxes created by imap2soap.pl processing and clean out the "junk".  Just run "imap2soapJunk.pl imap2soap.conf" and you'll see the mailboxes (I'm not sure if the -m arg still works...).  Choose a mailbox by number and then:
 * show the first # messages message numbers
 * print a message by number
 * delete the first # messages
 * quit (back to parent loop where you can choose another mail box)
Crude, but I find it useful for debugging problems.  Suggestions welcome!
