Custom Fields not Merged

On the 2.1 Sandbox today I made two contacts which matched the duplicate checking rules. For one of them I entered data in the custom tab called "custom test tab " and the other had no data.

I ran the dup check and merge and did 'check all' when it asked what fields to copy but anyhow that custom data didn't appear to be listed there.

After the merge, the custom data was gone.

My impression is that this is a bug, but I will wait for confirmation. :)

sounds like a bug. can you file an issue for this. we'll investigate and fix.
