drag and drop ordering of fields

Drupal 6 that has a very nice drag-and-drop rearrangement of weighted elements, that also degrades nicely to old format if Java is not enabled. Usability way up with that feature.

It would be nice to draw some example from this Drupal code and implement the same for ordering in CiviCRM, such as on profile fields in the table view of fields.  Currently if you want to reorder a profile field you have to remember the ordering all fields, click the field you want to change to load the field page, change the order based on your memory, then hit save to return to the main table to confirm that it's where you thought it should be.

The order field has 4 graphical elements that allow you to move fields up and down in a fairly easy manner (this is similar to what joomla has)

implementing the drupal style drag-n-drop is a project for the future. as always code contributions will help make it into an earlier release

OK, thanks. This post was partially in response to a strange display bug with Firefox

Moving from arrows to drag-and-drop isn't of highest priority probably.
