Changing the HTTP port of CiviCRM
August 27, 2008, 09:24:25 pm
Hi, I installed CiviCRM on Drupal and things are all working fine after testing in my internal network. However, I found out that port 80 is blocked externally so had to change the Apache HTTP port to port 85. When I changed this and restarted Apache, I can access Drupal but I cannot access the CiviCRM module. when I click on the CiviCRM link it gave me PAge Cannot Be Displayed.  CiviCRM seems to have the original port or the URL with port 80 kept somehere.

Where do I change the HTTP port for CiviCRM?

thanks!

Hey,

If you're using 2.1, you will also need to regenerate menus, by invoking this url: http://yourhost/pathto/yourinstall/civicrm/menu/rebuild?reset=1

Thx,
m

Yes, I changed the resource and base urls to use the new port #, but when I clicked on CiviCRM link from the menu, it still errored out.   Is there any place else where the port may be stored?

I'm using CiviCRM 2.0 for Drupal 5.10.  Do I need to regenerate menus for this too?
