The current Headers, Footers, Automated Messages screen (/civicrm/admin/component?reset=1) is pretty difficult to use if you have any complex html and css in a header or footer.  The markup is listed in a narrow column thus making any entry with markup many column inches long. 

I see no reason to actually show the markup on this list, rather, there should be a link to preview and a link to edit the each "component".  The preview link should render the markup in the browser and offer an option to switch to an edit screen.

This list should also offer a filter by component type option.

These changes would vastly improve the usability of this page, especially for organizations with more than a handful of components.
