As the author of this plugin I flattered that you think it needs a child board but don't really see the need.  It's already featured in the Third Party Modules section of the wiki and some people have posted comments there which I've picked up on. From a support point of view it is provided as is with full documentation in the code and wiki.

It's not too complicated to use and if anyone wants to recode or modify it then all the better. Feel free!

You clearly have a lot of energy for CiviCRM and hope that you can join in in making the Joomla integration tighter.
