Okay, I got CiviCRM 2.0.6 installed on Joomla 1.0.15 with server PHP 5.2.6/MySQL 4.1.22-standard/Apache 1.3.41 (Unix)

Here is what I had to do:

• SSH to my server
• Go to /home/[account name]/public_html/citycollegeboard/administrator/components/com_installer/component
• wget http://downloads.sourceforge.net/civicrm/civicrm-2.0.6-joomla.zip?modtime=1219228989&big_mirror=0
• UNZIP civicrm-2.0.6-joomla.zip
• In civicrm.xml file, following another's post, I deleted every instance referring to "civicrm/...  I couldn't get it to install otherwise.
• Go to Joomla 1.0.15 Control Panel, Installers > Components
• Add com_civicrm to the end of the line in the "Install From Directory" section
• Click Install
• Returns that it installed successfully
• Done

Okay now that it is installed I go to the Components drop-down menu to access CiviCRM.  When I do that I get this error message:

CiviCRM requires PHP Version 5.2 or greater. You are running PHP Version 4.4.8
I have confirmed that I am running the above correct server and configurations.
Any ideas?
