Any way to... Setup Event as a Series?

We have a number of Event types which are more than single-time happenings. For exmple:

1- class meets weekly, starts X day, ends Y day, from 7-9
2- class meets from 7p-9p on Friday, & then 9:00-17:00 Saturday & then 9:00-12:00 on Sunday
3- class meets on 8/4, 8/25, 9/1, 9/8, 10/13 (irregular pattern on one day of the week)
4- class meets on some other irregular pattern spanning differ

Is there any way to do this currently, or any suggestions??

Hey,

This is not possible at the moment - however, this kind of feature is among candidate features for v.2.2, so you might want to stay tuned for news if it gets included in final list of features to implement.

Do you know if this has been slated for 2.3 or if there's any test code laying around for this feature. Would be huge for us.

nope. this is not scheduled to be part of 2.3. The current event features for 2.3 are:

If you would like to see this be part of 2.3 consider making a code contribution and/or sponsorship of this specific feature
