Multi-language support
September 04, 2008, 08:47:49 pm
J1.5.6 + CiviCRM beta3

Global Settings > Localization > Multiple languages support

The checkbox to enable is not visible. I'm unsure if it's a bug (the checkbox is present on the drupal sandbox), or if it's an indication that the logged in user has inadequate access (per the warning message). If the latter, there probably should be a note to that effect, actually explaining why the option isn't present (not just a "possible" message, as currently).

Brian,

Does help text in this field say that "This is a multilingual installation"? If so, the button is not visible, because switching to multilingual setup is irreversible - you cannot switch back to single-language install. Otherwise, could you please file a bug report?

Thx,
m

No, it does not say it's a multilingual install.

This is a new installation of beta3. I was walking through the global settings as part of the initial setup and noticed there was no option available on that page.

I don't actually need the multilingual install. But suspected it might be a bug.
