Adding More Than One Address
September 05, 2008, 07:32:36 am
I know that one contact can have more than one address, but how do I enter those?  I entered some in the import, but it seems to me that I cannot have more than one address in the "Edit" screen of a contact.  Am I just missing it, is my Joomla installation of CiviCRM messed up, or is it just not there?

Thanks,

Dan

Hey,

You need to set up the number of available locations in configuration: Administer CiviCRM › Global Settings > Address Settings. On this screen, in " Address Editing" section, there is a field "Number of Locations".

Thx,
m

Thanks a lot!

I have a question. What if I want to change the name of "Additional address 1" and "Additional address 2" to other name, how should I do it. Should I go to table to change it?

For that i would suggest to use Custom Template Feature.

Check http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Customize+Built-in+and+Profile+Screens
