Error message when creating field help

When adding detailed field help when adding a field to a profile I'm getting:

Warning: domdocument::domdocument() expects at least 1 parameter, 0 given in C:\xampp\htdocs\osmnew\administrator\components\com_civicrm\civicrm\packages\IDS\vendors\htmlpurifier\HTMLPurifier\Lexer\DOMLex.php on line 55

Fatal error: Call to undefined method domdocument::loadHTML() in C:\xampp\htdocs\osmnew\administrator\components\com_civicrm\civicrm\packages\IDS\vendors\htmlpurifier\HTMLPurifier\Lexer\DOMLex.php on line 59

But not every time. It seems like it happens if the instructions are more than a few words. Or maybe there are forbidden words? Basically I'm saying, "This address will be used to make map."

1. what version of PHP and OS

2. can u get the same behavior on sandbox

3. if you have instructions of more than a few words does it repeat it ALL the time

I get sporadic WSOD's on my localhost install (with the latest version of php, 5.2.6 on macosx). however they are very random and hard to reproduce

Yeah, it was 5.2.6 but on xampp.
