V2.1b3 on Joomla 1.5 some issues.
September 09, 2008, 08:14:23 pm
Running Version 2.1 Beta 3 on Joomla 1.5.6 I found a few issues that might have been already found and fixed, but I thought I should report them:

1. Get a message about not having a Payment Processor configured when adding a new contribution page, screen shot attached. Obviously, I do have the Payment Processors configured and I tested them with an event registration.

2. The WYSIWIG editors on the contribution pages do not show the icons that I expected for the specified editor, screen shot attached. This happens on any of the browsers I am using: IE, Firefox, Chrome.

3. And lastly, for now, but not least, ;D the recapcha is not displaying an image on profiles. I registered at recaptcha.net and got the public and private keys and set them in the Global settings. is there any other settings I have to address besides adding the keys and turn it on in the profile? See attached profile, it shows the label from the captcha.php file that tells the user to enter the imaged displayed, but the image is not displayed. I checked to see if the page gets any errors, but I don't see any errors at all!

Any ideas on any of the above? V2.1 is looking good!

thanks in advance,
Jose

I could not reproduce items 1 and 3 on my localhost joomla 1.5.6 and current crm_v2.1 (beta4). I dont think its a beta3/beta4 issue

for 2 what icons do u expect? are they the same as the icons u see on the demo server?

thx lobo.

I will verify the 1 & 3 today in a new installation of v2.1b4, which I am working on and if it works then it might be that my v2.1b3 installation is messed up.

Regarding #2, I was expecting the icons that Brian has in a screen shot on this post: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,4667.msg20337.html#msg20337 I will check in the Sandbox also to see what they look like, but when I read the write up that HTML editors were going to be included in 2.1 I assumed they were going to look similar to the ones in Joomla's editing forms!?! I know I should not assume ;) So, how come Brian's screen shot looks like that?

WYSIWIG editor issue: I only get the icons in my previous image for TinyMCE, when I change the editor to FCKEditor which is what Brian's post shows and which is the one I wanted to use and expected to see, I get an internal 500 error, see screen shot attached. I think there might be an issue with the 1and1 server I am using since they are very stingy on memory and php settings. I will try to up some settings to see if that is the case.

anyone else have any suggestions?

Yes, I was using the fckeditor.
Does the 500 error show up on all pages that use the wysiwyg editor? The editor is implemented all over the place, so you should be able to click around and find another place where it should be showing up.
