Can someone confirm if this is part of V2.1b4 or full release? or planned for a future version?

In the write up on CRM-3096 http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-3086 there's the following statement:

Am I to understand that contributions and memberships will get the same functionality that CiviEvent is getting to be able to register multiple people via one registrar? If not, I would like to put in my two cents that it should be added to a future release. Don't you think if people sign up others for an event that they could do the same for memberships and contributions?

Nonetheless, I think the addition to CiviEvent is a major enhancement!

I think this was not related to "Adding Multiple" people during contribution. This comment was more specific to processing contributions (more of making code consistent)
