I am using 1.9 on Drupal 5.10.  I see a menu item for CiviCRM and used to be able to click on it and take me to Civi's main menu.  Now it sends me to a PERMISSION DENIED page with login field, as if I had not logged in.  I can click back, refresh, and I am still logged in to Drupal.

Any ideas how to make myself still a part of drupal without reinstalling the whole thing again?

Most likely cause is that the URL for your Drupal site has changed, but the CiviCRM settings haven't been updated. This would cause your CiviCRM menu link to send you to a somewhat different base URL for Drupal (and hence your login session / cookie isn't valid).

I have not changes the domain name.  How do I fix it?  I am very php/mysql savvy.

Does logged to user have enough permissions to access CiviCRM ?

I have other users that can access civicrm but not user #1 (administrator) - very odd.
