Mailing label output where Individual is related to Household/Organisation

I'm new to CiviCRM and, as I haven't seen any other posts on this particular mailing label issue, would appreciate some pointers.  I've succesfully imported some contact information and created relationships - Individual to Organisation/Household. However, where Individuals exist because of their relation to an Organisation/Household, the mailing address is only entered on the Organisation/Household Contact record.  I cannot see how to output the Individual's name with related Organisation/Household address information onto mailing labels. 

For the sake of clarity what we want on our mailing labels is:

  Individual Contact Name
  (Related) Organisation/Household Name
  Organisation Address block

two possible options here:

1. via the UI you can edit each individual and "copy" the household address over. This is not the right way, but a hack for now. it is also quite cumbersome

2. extend the mailing label functionality to incorporate the behavior you need and/or create a seperate task. This will require coding, so you do need php/mysql/civicrm expertise. A large part of the code is already there so its more stiching together various pieces. This has been mentioned in the past and will make a great community contribution

Also if you Individual Contact using "Shared Household" Address, then mailing label will have address of Household.
