Database Out of Memory Error
September 11, 2008, 06:21:02 am
Hi,

I'm getting a strange error in CiviCRM whenever I try to do anything with it (e.g. search for a contact).  In a yellow I get:

Code: [Select]
Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.

DB Error: unknown error

Database Error Code: Out of memory (Needed 6700704 bytes), 5

Return to home page.

and then below that:

Code: [Select]
Error Details:

            [0] => CRM_Core_Error
            [1] => handle

)

Any ideas?  The above code is when I type 'John' into the search function on the main CiviCRM page.

I'm using CiviCRM 2.0 on Drupal 5.8 (on firefox).

Thanks,
VS.

Just few thoughts:

- Have you created too many ACL's ?
- Not sure if this will help but you can check: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,1855.msg20410.html#msg20410

Nope, no ACLs created.  Will have a look at that thread.

But the database is now working again.   Strange...

Not sure if that's this topic closed or not.
