I'm starting to get this error when trying to register more than one participant, even though I have a valid number. I will try and test this in the Sandbox, but wanted to put it out there, while I'm doing that.

I just tried this in the sandbox and got the same error using the 2008 NLADA event.

this is now fixed. the issue is here: http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-3535

The patch is quite trivial if you dont want to wait till the next release. The diff is here:
