Cancel a scheduled mailing doesn't seem to work

I'll keep this brief and if necessary, provide more details.

Has anyone reported that it is not possible to cancel a scheduled mailing in 1.9? One can click the cancel link but the mailing is still sent.

Let me know if you need any more information if nobody has reported this.

Bit hard to remember CiviCRM v1.9 behavior. Would recommend upgrading to 2.0 or 2.1 Can you try to replicate it on http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org.

Due to lack of resources at the moment, can't upgrade. If I know it is a bug in 1.9 then I will have more ammunition for the business case to upgrade.

Yes, that feature was not implemented in 1.9. We've fixed this in 2.1
