Admin>Synchronize User to Contacts Joomla? can do? where?

I use J 1.5.6 and CiviCRM 2~beta recently released. I am reviewing options and it might be possible to synchronize my current Joomla Contacts list with the CiviCRM User/Members. I have created a CiviCRM Members group and I can individually add contacts. I would like to find the "Synchronize User>Contacts" link. Does this exist on the Joomla admin model like it does in Drupal?  Does it continue to function as new contacts register in Joomla?

Yes you can... Go to "Administer CiviCRM" and select "Manage", then "Synchronize Users Contacts"... you will see a warning with the following message "Synchronize Users to Contacts: CiviCRM will check each user record for a contact record. A new contact record will be created for each user where one does not already exist. Do you want to continue?".

hmmm, welll for me, there is ~manage groups~ not manage? ok no biggie, then there are 3 paragraphs with links to overview trainer pages... organize, add, mailing lists. No synchronize that I see? 
Finally there is Find Groups, which works ok to find my group and I can see to add EACH contact... manually, but no synchro here?
 U sure U R on the same CivcCRM I am :-\  I'm on the newest beta3.

I have read the overviews to learn, that is why I asked... can't find the link anywhere in then admin section?

KEY word go to ADMIN! CiviCRM and there way down on the page is SYNCHRO your contacts... then by golly will work aok by golly.  It does no good for me to look in home Manage Groups.. tain't there... Monday?

Stil wonder if it will update as it goes along adding contacts in Joomla... will try that 2 C.

My understanding is that going forward when a Joomla user engages in a CiviCRM transaction the match is made.  Someday I'm sure we'll be blessed with someone creating replacement registration/user detail modules for the stock Joomla code.

Soooo... the key for now for Joomla is to simply re run Synchronize regularly,  I guess that is not a big chore.  Cron exists if I am not too lazy to try it.  thanks for the input Father.  I am working at a Profile/CiviMember with one Organization in CiviCRM2.1beta3 and hosted inside Joomla 1.5.6.   I guess one of the hairy beasts here is to try to minimize the number of re-logins and simple entering for contact and Profile info. I add OpenRealty (as Joomla/dirOR with a seperate db) for a very specialized streamlined classifed area and I am in pretty deep.  The site is a non commercial interactive community emagazine for retired folks in my area.

My best case would be one master log in which might take care of Joomla (not OR as far as I know now), and offer an optional Profile form link also and give the user choices for how the  user would like to participate...
1. registered user,
2. member with some priviledges,
3. member with a lot of priviledges,
each at different Contribution levels ... >CiviContribute gets set up here I betcha.

+ SuperAdmin who can do most anything. I am hoping this all is realistic?
I will re-read the good info in the Help area and follow along reviewing/learning  each step in Profiles and CiviMember as I go.
