I can't seem to find the basic  CiviContrbute thermometer. I can get the one on the widget, but can't seem to locate/enable the one that I believe should show up on the contribute page.

I am running CiviCRM 2.0.5 under Drupal 5 and have given a goal amount for the Contrib page. I have also looked at the list of disabled Blocks to see if something looks like it might contain the  CiviContrbute thermometer. But so far I can't find it. I have a vague memory of having seen it during my early experimenting and testing(but not on my current system), but can't remember the details.

I have seen mention of activating a checkbox, but I haven't seen it. Can anyone tell me which panel it is in? From my reading, it sounds like it should be on the "Title and Settings" but I don't see it on either my site or the 2.1 sandbox

Enter the Goal Amount for this contribution page. If enabled, the progress thermometer will track progress against this goal. You can also display the thermometer during a contribution by checking the box labeled "Should a thermometer block be displayed during a contribution?" You can also enter a Thermometer Title.

I did a bit more digging and this issue http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-2472 seem to imply that the  thermometer on the CiviContrbute page has been dropped since there is one on the widget. I'm hoping that this is not true, since the Widget is only seen by a small percentage of the contributers.

Bummer    But thanks for the link. Looks like it's from 1.7 but I'll see what I can do with it.

The Thermometer didn't grab him when I showed him the widget, but a client got enamored when he saw one on one of the Obama supporter pages with a Thermometer on it.
