Updating Membership Status
June 23, 2007, 11:05:35 am
Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble setting up the cron job for UpdateMembershipStatus.php.  I'm running 1.7 on Drupal 5.0.  Specifically, what does user$ mean in: "yourhost:/PathToCiviCRM/civicrm/bin user$ php UpdateMembershipRecord.php"?

Is that the civircm user?  The user granted privileges to that file?

Thanks,
-Bradley

After copying UpdateMembershipRecord.php.txt as UpdateMembershipRecord.php and editing the FROM email address, I think you can run the script by just typing:

php UpdateMembershipRecord.php

... from your command prompt in .../civicrm/bin

I need to check what the doc intended with the user$ text ?? I think it might have been just a (confusing) way to show the directory path/command prompt.

If this isn't working for you, please post back w/ specific errors etc.
