it is possible to buy different domans an send emaisl with civimail without need to reinstall all civicrm for any domain?
this for example to send emaisl for sponsors froma new them domain, fora better comunication with sponsors..

I  think I saw a comment relating to something like that in CiviCRM 2.2 work being sponsored by  USPIRG(phase 2).

I'm just getting ready to implement using CiviMail for a non-profit I work with, but am thinking of using a single different domain for ALL CiviMail from the organization.  The website would be myNGO.org and all the email would come from myNGO2.org  Does anyone know if it is possible to do this? Our original domain goes thru Yahoo and they are a pain as far as working with non-yahoo tools for email. BTW I will probably be using CiviSMTP

In CiviCRM 2.1 you can define any single domain for email handling (note that the links for (un-, re-)subscribing will point to your existing CiviCRM installation).

Our plans for CiviCRM 2.2 include support for multiple domains in CiviMail.

Thanks Piotr. For me that sounds perfect  ;D We keep the original domain for the web links/updates but stay away from Yahoo for email. I was worried I was going to have to try and play some games with mod-rewrite.

Administer CiviCRM → Global Settings → Outbound Email (SMTP/Sendmail) and Administer CiviCRM → Domain Information → System-generated Mail Settings
