Go to Global Settings >> Localizations, change Default Language to "Brazilian Portuguese"

1. http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/setting?reset=1
2. http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/setting/localization?reset=1

You can download translation files from:

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/civicrm/civicrm-2.0.6-l10n.tar.gz?modtime=1219228990&big_mirror=0

Then follow:

http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/CiviCRM+Localisation?focusedCommentId=4686080#CiviCRMLocalisation-UserLanguage(Translations)

Thankyou for help again
I have a big trouble.
My Joomla is not UTF-8, so the translate does not work properly
Look this:
Selecione o método preferido de comunicação com este contato
Do know how I can fix that?
Thanks

Not sure, but reinstalling joomla with UTF8 might solve the problem ..

Joomla 1.0 is not UTF-8 compatible by default; you can search this forum to find previous discussions about this (and links to possible solutions).

Joomla 1.5 uses UTF-8 by default, and CiviCRM 2.1 will not work with Joomla 1.0 – so the best choice might be to upgrade to Joomla 1.5 and CiviCRM 2.1.
If you found the above helpful, please consider helping us in return – you can even steer CiviCRM’s future and help us extend CiviCRM in ways useful to you.

Kurund Jalmi and Piotr Szotkowski thanks.
I change to Joomla 1.5 and test
Your Extension is wonderful but not for South America (Brasil), where i live.
unfortunately needs for several changes:
a) ways of payment
b) complete the translation to Portuguese Brasil (I can help you)
Maybe if you Involving more people in Brazil that could help you and make the appropriate extension to the Latin America
However, congratulations for the excellent work!
