Hi,

I'm using CiviCRM 2.1 beta 5 and want to create an email form on the homepage of the site that is a very simple email field and a "go" button.  Easy enough.  However, I'd like this to redirect to a thank you page that requests additional  optional information.  That way, the user can easily sign up for our email list, and isn't put off by filling out by ten fields, but has the option on the second profile creation page.  Do do this, I'd like to pass the email address or user ID or from the first profile to the second so that the user doesn't have to retype the email address to update their profile. 

Is that possible?  We're using Joomla 1.5 and not requiring joomla account registration or anything.
