Finding a string in Notes

When I am attempting to do an advanced search in Notes:
(http://bradjensen.info/files/images/example3.preview.jpg)
The results that are returned are only where the text that I am searching for is exactly equal to the entire contents of the note, such as here:
(http://bradjensen.info/files/images/example.preview.JPG)
But will not find people like this one:
(http://bradjensen.info/files/images/example4.preview.jpg)

I get the same results in the search builder.

Whoops, I forgot to say that it is 2.1 beta 5 with Drupal 6.4

You should use "DDP%" for searching.

It would be natural for people to assume the notes field includes wildcards by default. Maybe that field could be changed to a fuzzy search?

Actually there was a minor bug in Advanced Search. Now you can search without wildcards.

Fixed in http://fisheye.civicrm.org/changelog/CiviCRM-2-1/?cs=17251
