Calendar error 'Please select a correct date format'

Hi

We recently moved our site to a new server and now anywhere where a date needs to be input we get the error

"Please correct the following errors in the form fields below:
  * Select a valid date." 

no matter what date we've put in. Also the little calendar icon isn't making a calendar pop up.

Any ideas why?? Or how to fix it

Have you followed the procedure given here - http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Moving+an+Existing+Installation+to+a+New+Server+or+Location ?
