quciker way to add addresses to database
September 25, 2008, 11:03:53 am
Is there a quicker way to add addresses to CiviCRM?

I'm constantly finding mailing addresses or even email addresses in my email inbox, is there a widget or something where I can just select the mailing address or email address in my email message and somehow have it added to CiviCRM database as a contact? (Rather than entering it in manually)?

I don't know of any already existing ones off-hand that will automatically copy the address and enter the data for you. But if you use Zimbra for email you could probably modify one of the existing Zimlets, and if using FF you might be able to write an pluggin.
