How much can CiviEvent page be customized?

Every year we have an event called "Celebration Kindness Day"

At this event, people buy bells to give to other people as an act of kindness. They have 3 options.

$25 - pick up bell yourself
$25 - bell will be delivered
$30 - bell will be shipped

I am wondering if it's possible to some how use the current CiviEvent module. It looks like it is possible for me to list those 3 options above in the "event fee" section however, is there any way so I can have a textbox field in there for people to enter in the shipping address?

I guess my question is -- for any of those "pages" or "sections" you have provided, can I customize it (on my own) to add more text box fields, drop-down box options, etc?

yes, you can do all the above. You might want to read the civicrm docs on profiles: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Profiles+Admin and then include the profile in the event registration form

All profile fields are added AFTER the event fees. If you want to display them before, you will need to customize the template: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Customize+Built-in+and+Profile+Screens
