APC and CiviCRM - any issues?
October 02, 2008, 05:08:02 am
I installed APC on a machine today, and I noticed the following error:
Code: [Select]
[Thu Oct  2 17:43:03 2008] [apc-error] Cannot redeclare class crm_mailing_bao_mailing

This occurred when the imap2soap script was running (by matching the time of that entry to the access logs).

However, I can't reproduce it. Has anyone else experimented with APC + CiviCRM? Are there any specific configuration settings I need to account for?

Apparently this can happen when a class is conditionally defined in a file. I ran another test (6 hours) and couldn't reproduce it, but will keep a close eye on it through further testing.

Very interested to hear other peoples reports of using any other opcode caches (eAccellerator, APC, xCache) with CiviCRM.
