Why would somone use email optout versus url optout?

Seems Civi has two opt out options.
One.. where the recipient replies to the email and then gets an email about being opted out.
Two.. where they can click the URL and get opted out.

Seems to me option two is a ton easier on the admin side?

Any thoughts as to why you would use #1

Not everyone has access to a web browser all the time. An example being a person who receives their emails on a cell phone without a browser or who works at a company with a very restrictive access policy for web sites.
