save and test email settings
October 06, 2008, 06:41:50 pm
The "save and test" email settings (smtp or sendmail) don't appear to be working. I have two installs (different hosts) where the tests yielded no emails, but after saving and testing through a contact record, it was confirmed to be working.

I am not able to replicate this on my local install. If you are able to replicate it on demo, do file an issue in jira.

Thanx

Kurund,
I tested on the drupal demo -- the sendmail option did send a test message, the smtp option did not -- but I'm not sure if that's because you've disabled email features on the demo.

I'll test again on my couple installations and see if the behavior persists.
