New Joomla Demo - Is it the default config ?
October 08, 2008, 12:36:32 am
Is the Civicrm/Joomla demo basically the default configuration eg. of the menus etc ? ie. If I do the standard install of Civicrm with Joomla, can I expect it to look like the demo ? When I did an install of a previous version, it certainly didn't look so friendly. If it is not the standard config, how can i make my install look like the demo ? (I haven't attemptd installing Civicrm 2.1/Joomla 1.5 yet)

Gary - The Administrator site on the demo is vanilla CiviCRM 2.1 with the sample data loaded. Which menu(s) are you referring to specifically.

(We did disable quite a few Joomla! modules in the demo to keep things simple - and added some sample front-end menu items which link to the sample event, contribution page and membership signup pages.)
