contributiontype and currency

Is it possible to connect different currencys to different contributiontypes?

I use contributions without any actual moneytransfer, just as record for pokerwinnings/lost, and I have recorded different pokersites as different contributiontypes. Different pokersites use different currencys, and I want the contribution to be automaticly recorded as whatever currency that site is using.

So when I list contributionpages I need to know what currency the contribution is made

civicrm is basically single currency at any given time. It does not handle multiple currencies very well (though it does store them quite nicely)

would be a great contribution / sponsorship to make civicrm multi-currency enabled.
