hey everyone...had a quick question involving civimail and contacts in multiple groups.

if a contact is in multiple groups, and we are sending a mailing to those multiple groups - does the contact receive an e-mail for each group they are in, or does civimail filter it so that each contact is distinct no matter how many groups they are in?

Every contact gets only one email message, no matter in how many target groups it belongs to.

(Unless, of course, that contact is excluded by being a part of an excluded group and/or by belonging to an excluded mailing – exclusion gets higher precedence than inclusion.)
