When I import, on step 4 I get this error in red,  CiviCRM has detected invalid data and/or formatting errors in 4 records. These records have not been imported.  You can Download Errors. You may then correct them, and import the new file with the corrected data.

When I look at the error data, the second (data) line shows:
"1","Required fields not found for contribution contribution_type_id","1","My Company Name","1","20060312","2"

The membership contribution ID in the database is 2, which is what I am importing so that's fine.

I have looked into the database under contribution_type.  The ID for membership is 2.  During import, I set the contribution type column to 2.  The error in the download error file, "Required fields not found for contribution contribution_type_id".

I looked at the ID of the membership page on the "Manage Contribution Pages" which was 4.  During import, I set the contribution type column to 4.  The error in the download error file, "Required fields not found for contribution contribution_type_id".

What am I missing or supposed to do here?

What did you do to fix this? I'm getting the same issue when importing valid contact data.
